Membership and Privileges


The membership of the Panjab University Alumni Association is open to:

  • its degree holders;
  • members of the teaching faculty of the university or of its affiliated colleges, even though they do not have a degree from the Panjab University;
  • graduates of other universities, Indian or foreign, on whom membership is conferred by the Executive Council of the association.

The members are entitled to:

  • Membership of the Panjab University Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, etc.
  • Membership of the Panjab University Library (immediately after enrolment for superannuated alumni; after five years of enrolment for other Life Members).
  • Accommodation in the Panjab University Faculty House at concessional rates.
  • Use of Alumni House lawns for various social, cultural, alumni, academic and commercial functions at concessional rates.
  • Use of Alumni House Guest Rooms at concessional rates.

Membership Fee:

The revised subscription fee tariffs of membership/patronship of the Association in India and abroad applicable w.e.f. 1 January, 2009 are as under:

You can deposit the Membership Fee in Account No: 10444984143 in any SBI Branch from anywhere in India under intimation to the Office of Dean Alumni Relations.

Demand Draft/Cheque
Make a Demand Draft or Cheque or your Membership Fee in favour of "Dean Alumni Relation, Panjab University" payable at Chandigarh.
